Cornbellies 2013

Halloween tradition... Every year we go down to Cornbellies with Heidy and the kids this year we were not able to go until late in the day and so we did not have as much time as normal and as soon as the sun went down it was freezing cold. So this year was the shortest we have ever gone for but we still had a fun time.

There was music playing so the kids did a little dancing while waiting in line.

Logans facial expressions kill me in these two pics

The boys all decided that they wanted to go on the slide and so they all went down together but Logan was not sure what to do and as Dallin and Niko when down the slide Logan was still stuck up at the top lol He eventually he got the hang of it and came down the slide.

So they had this poor cow this year that they named Cow in a hat. And the cow was wearing a hat that looked like a skunk on his head. And you could tell the cow hated it and kept rubbing his head all over stuff to try and get it off then he finally just gave up and laid down ha ha

We ended the night in the corn maze. And it was freezing and alot harder to be in a corn maze in the dark

Sand Dunes Vacation

So I am so behind in the blog world so I am going to try and catch up ... About 3 weeks ago the weekend of Oct 12th we went up to the Little Sahara Sand Dunes the kids had so much fun. I am pretty sure that the sand dunes is a boys heaven sand and dirt and mud everywhere and you can roll around and play in it all day. They had dirt in places I didnt know you could get it lol. And we were still cleaning it out of them for a week. The weather was perfect for the Saturday that we went out riding. And there was not a cloud in the sky. Sunday was another story freezing cold and raining on and off. But that didnt matter as much because we were just packing up and driving home that day. Anyways it was a great trip and here is a super overload of pictures ;)

Dallin happened to find a caterpillar in the sand. What are the odds that you would find a caterpillar in middle of the sand dunes.

The boys were determined that they were going to climb the biggest sand mountain we could find. And this is the one that they picked. It doesn't look as big in the pics but it was huge. And its so hard to walk in the sand we learned lol

They look like tiny little specks on top the mountain.

While we were out driving around in the dunes we happened to find a total of 12 golf balls. So the kids made a game that they were chickens that were laying eggs "golf balls" in the hole that they dug and the other kid had to come and "harvest" the eggs. Oh yeah there was clucking involved and all. ha ha I dont know where they come up with this stuff.
