I am pretty sure that Dallin will want a tattoo when he gets older. He loves to get temporary tattoos and he turns right into a tough guy..

...A day at the park...

We went to the park on Saturday with Davids family for dinner and kite flying and rocket flying. We all had a fun time getting together.

Here is David flying his huge kite that he made last year and Dallin and some of his cousins chasing the tail around.

This just shows you how big this kite is. David is the one holding it.

On to shooting off rockets

And here is Dallin sneaking some jello out of the bowl.

All the young kids got a turn shooting off the rockets. They were very excited about this.

And then it was Grandma Ehlerts turn to do the last one.

The rocket shooting off with fire. This one had a little bit of a crash landing and hit a car that was driving out of the parking lot. David started walking over to them so see if there was any damage but they jumped in the car and drove away. So I guess it couldn't have done to much lol

I will take the help I can get.

So this morning I was busy taking a shower and getting Logan ready and I could hear Dallin in the kitchen making a bunch of noise. So I went in there to see what was going on and this is what I found. Dallin made me breakfast :) He had the table all set with toasted bagels with cream cheese and orange juice. I guess all the times that he helps me cook is starting to pay off :)

School fun.

Dallin was so excited yesterday when he got home from school to tell me that he won this mini paddle ball toy for being the first one to finish something lol (he still cant remember what that was) and what made it more exciting is that it had a skull on it his favorite ha ha

And he also modeled his fruit loop necklace he made at school yesterday.

And I love that there is oreos still all over his face. That was the snack of the day at school lol

Its a good time of day...

When BOTH the kids are sleeping!!! Oh its a happy time for me.. Yes it was still 8 in the morning but I will take what I can get at this point lol. My lazy both both sleeping on my bed.

State Fair 2010

Its that time again. It feels like we just went to the fair last year I cant believe it. Well we had a great time at the fair this year. There was a lot of people but what do you do it cleared out a little the later that it got so it all worked out. Dallin loved to look at all the animals the the entertainment. I was sad when we got home and I realized that I forgot to take a picture of Dallin by the giant pumpkins that they have. I have done that every year from the time that he was born and this year I totally forgot... Oh well we still had a great time at the fair.

Dallin enjoying the hot tubs... What is it with hot tubs and the fair??? Weird.My favorite part of the day was the sea lion show it was so fun to watch the cute sea lions dance around and do there tricks.

And the best part. We got to have our picture taken with the sea lions. It was so cute you would go up and they would just put there heads right on your shoulder and cuddle with you. Mine was all wet because he jumped back in the water right before our turn so my shirt hair and face was all wet when we were done but it was so much fun to be that close to the sea lions. And we only smelled like fish for maybe the next hour lol I love how Logan grabbed a hold of the sea lions ear lol

Dallins School Work.

So I dont get much out of Dallin everyday when I go to get him from school. I always ask him what did you do at school today and everyday I get the same answer " I don't know" its getting a little annoying lol But he has brought home two things now that he has made so I am glad to see that there is something being done in school. And I guess I will have to wait until I go to volunteer next week to see what really goes on all day. Well the three hours he is there lol at school :) But I am happy to say that he loves it and is so excited to go everyday.

Dallins first day of school...

How can it be Dallin is already going to school? I cant believe how fast time goes by. I am so happy that I was able to be there with him and walk him to his first day of school. He was so excited all morning and kept asking if it was time to go. The only thing that he was worried about was that I was not going to be there when he got out of school to pick him up. I promised him that I would be and so that made him feel a little better. So in a few hours I will be on my way back to school to get him and hear all about his big day.

He has the skull backpack to match his skull shoes and skull shirt. Yes he is all boy lol
