Taylorsville Dayzz

On Saturday night we went to the Taylorsville Dayzz fireworks. We go with Davids family every year and Dallin is always so excited to see the fireworks. We went last year but Logan was only a month old and so we were not sure how he was going to do with all of the noise but after they started he loved them and was laughing and clapping the whole 30 min of the firework show. I cant believe that its already July again wow.

Logan also LOVED the glow sticks.

Yes the big dark spot on Logan's shirt is drool the kids drools all day long lol.

Dallin playing light sabers with his cousin Joe

And his cousin Josh there are only two other boys in Davids family. We have way more girls on that side lol

And on to the fireworks ;)

Art Attack 5k

Over the weekend me and Heidy ran the art attack 5k at Sugarhouse Park. It was at eight in the morning but it was pretty hot with the sun beating down on you and you don't realize how many hills there are around Sugarhouse Park until you have to run around it 2 and a half times lol The best part was I told Dallin I was going to go and be in a race and he said well you need to bring some sheep mom. And I said why? And he said so that you can throw them in the path of the people in front of you and win the race lol. I informed him that even if I had 50 sheep I was not going to win this race lol. Here are some pics from the day :)

Here I am getting ready for the race.

Here is Leo the Lion from Real Soccer

And the Blaze Tiger

I loved the shorts on Mr. Short Shorts lol And the motivational shirts lol

Here we are waiting for the buzzer to start the race.

And all the people in front of us lol

And here is Heidy running to the finish line. She was faster then me :)

Fathers Day 2011

This year for fathers day we had a nice relaxing day. Me and Dallin woke up early and made waffles for David and then David was able to open his first present. He had different presents that he opened thruout the day when he needed them. The first present was a tie that the kids made last week that he could wear to church. Dallin was so excited to give it to him and had such a fun time making it.

I hope that all the fathers out there had a great and relaxing fathers day :)

Then after church we came home and made Davids favorite dinner hamburgers, potato salad and corn on the cob. For his second present we got him a tool that takes the corn off the cob for him.
And then David was able to open his third present before dessert it was a shirt that the kids also made him with there feet and hand prints.

And for dessert Dallin and I made a homemade raspberry swirl angel food cake with berries.

Time for another haircut..

Logan is getting pretty shaggy these days he needs another haircut pretty bad. But the kid does not hold still for more then 2 seconds and so I am worried if we try he is going to look a mess. Lately Dallin always wants to play barbershop and gets out all of my brushes and clips and hairspray and pretends that he is going to cut your hair. Well Sunday night Dallin did Logan's hair for him and this is how it turned out :)

And as always here is Logan screaming with his tongue hanging out. He does this all day lol

This is the Place...

Last week I took the kids to This is the Place Heritage Park. I didn't realize that they closed at five and so we only had a few hours to be there and so needless to say we didn't get so see most of the park so I told Dallin that we could go again early Saturday so that we would have more time to do stuff. So as promised Saturday came and we went to the park again and still didnt get to do everything. You don't realize how big that place really is lol. So here are pics from both trips to the Park.
Dallin getting licked by the cow. He actually licked his shirt but I took the picture to soon lol

The adorable baby pigs that are in the petting zoo.

This goat is ready to pop any day and when you put your hand on its belly you could actually feel the baby goat inside moving around. It was pretty cool.

David came with us when we went back on Saturday here are the boys on the train.

For some reason Dallin does not like to ride the horses at this place. But has no problem jumping on them at the fair when it costs 5 bucks a ride. Its weird I have to pay him 50 cents to ride them so that I could get a picture and so that Logan could ride on them.

Dallin at the old schoolhouse having a lesson.

Time to look for gold..

Dallin showing off his 3 pieces that he found.

Time to ride the mini train.
