extras from christmas

For some reason these pics didn't want to add to my Christmas post. So I had to make a new post for them oh well. A few more gifts for each other.

David got a subscription to a magazine

Logan got Dallin a new piggy bank. He used to have one that was shaped like a basketball. And Logan got it one day and thought that it was a real ball and went and threw it on the kitchen floor and it shattered everywhere.

And Dallin got Logan a teddy bear that is a miniature version of Dallins favorite toy bear To Salty.

Dallin made a popcorn bowl for David and filled it with popcorn kernels. They eat popcorn 3-5 times a week.

Christmas Day 2011

Christmas started early at our house Logan got up at 5:30 and was full of energy and ready to play. Dallin was still asleep and I didn't want him up yet so I took Logan in our room and made David play with him while I took a shower and got ready and then made breakfast. By this time Dallin woke up it was about 7:30 and he was ready to go check out the living room and see if Santa came.

Well he knows that he needs to come and check with us first before he can go in so that I can get the camera ready :). Finally it was time to go check it out and Santa did come he spoiled the kids as always and brought great gifts for me and David too :)

After we did our presents we went to my moms house for a few hours and then went to Davids family for dinner. It was a great day but by the end we were all so tired and ready for bed lol

Then we do gift to each other before I let the kids see what Santa brought.

On to Santa gifts. Dallin got a new squishy pillow. His ripped open a few weeks ago and he has been so upset about it. So he was so excited to get a new one.

And a bike and helmet for Dallin he is so excited to learn how to ride a bike.

And last but not least the most wanted gift on the list....

A WII... Dallin asked 4 Santa's and wrote 3 letters for a Wii he wanted to make sure that Santa knew that's what he wanted the most.

So that's it a wrap up of the big day. Now the problem we have is figuring out where we are going to put it all lol Hope everyone had a great Christmas.

Christmas Eve

For Christmas eve we did the normal open up new pjs and eat lots of junk food while we watch a Christmas movie. This year Dallin picked The Santa Clause to watch after the movie was over the kids took a bath and went to bed. Dallin was so excited this year that he couldn't sleep. He was so worried that Santa was not going to come because Logan wakes up so much at night and was sure that he would be awake when Santa got to our house. I told him that it was going to be ok and that Santa would know when to come. He was still so worried and I don't think that he actually fell asleep until about 11:00. By the way Logan slept fine and didn't wake up until 5:30 am ..sigh.. lol and Santa made it to our house :)

Dear Santa,

Thank you for coming. Please go home safe and bring me to the North Pole some day. I hope that you like your cookies and give the hot chocolate to Rudolph its for him. Merry Christmas and Happy new year. Sleep good tonight.

All ready for Santa to come

Cookies For Santa

Every year on Christmas eve we make sugar cookies for Santa. Dallin was like always so excited to decorate them and was buggin me all day to do it. I had to keep reminding him that they needed to cool off or they would just fall apart :) This year it was fun cuz Logan was able to decorate his own cookie for Santa. And snuck a few bites for himself .

Sibling Christmas Party

Over the weekend we had our 5th annual sibling Christmas Party. We always do a potluck dinner and then do a white elephant gift exchange. As always it was a lot of fun and we had so much yummy food. Thanks to everyone that helped with the cooking and for all the funny gifts we had so much fun and the kids are still talking about it.

And Avery also got a coloring book

Being the good sport that I am instead of picking a new gift for my turn I stole Dallins hat so that it would be safe and he could keep it. It can be stolen twice in the game and he had already taken it from Tevin.

Heidy is the one that brought the hat and it was intended to be for Jeremy. That is until the kids saw it and fell in love lol So Jeremy couldn't steal it from the kids we were lucky just to get a pic of Jer in it cuz the kids were so worried that he was going to keep it.

And you know that its a good party when it ends with a table dance lol ok it was from two 18 month old babies but whats better then that lol And then Dallin joined in at the end.
