Here we go again

So Logan has been sick for over a week now full on fevers and needing breathing treatments every four hours to get him thru the nights. So finally on Monday I took him into the doc thinking that he had an ear infection because of the on and off fever he has been having. Well turned out that he does not have an ear infection but the doc decided that his asthma is getting so bad that he needs to be put on a permanent steroid inhalant. At least for a few years and then we will see how he is doing after that. So on top of giving Logan 4-6 breathing treatments a day we are now up to 5-8 treatments. Until he gets over his cold. And then once he is better then we just have to give him the steroid once a day for a few years. To see if this will help to prevent him getting as sick as he does every time that he gets a cold. There have been a few times that they can not get his oxygen level up and have almost been admitted into primary children's again. I am so glad that we have not had to do that again but its still hard not being able to do much for him as he struggles to breathe.And staying up with him most the night to make sure that he keeps breathing. He is slowly getting better and I am worried but Dallins birthday party is this weekend and I don't know if he is going to be better in time. Oh well only time will tell but as for now he is slowly getting better each day.

Dallins science fair

Dallin had his science fair this week. He has been working on it for about a month now and he decided that he was going to learn about water rockets so that's what it was all about. And he ended up winning a 1st grade classroom winner star so he was pretty proud about that. It was lots of fun going and seeing all the different ideas that kids come up with.

Sleepy head

Logan is still not a good sleeper. Its still a fight every night and he still gets up a few times a week. I have decided that he is just never going to sleep and so I have learned how to adjust to life with little sleep. So when Logan does fall asleep we leave him wherever he is lol. There have been many times that he has been asleep dead smack in the middle of the kitchen floor. And thats where he stays. I figured if it was cozy enough to fall asleep there then its cozy enough to stay there. :)

 

Let it snow

 The kids are so excited about the snow and could not wait to get out there and build a snowman. I on the other hand an so excited the the snow is melting lol but what do you do... Here are a few pics from the first snow storm or the winter.

Dallins Halloween Parade

 So Dallin school decided to do there Halloween parade the day after Halloween. So Dallin was pretty tired from being out all night trick or treating the night before that he didn't want to get up any earlier then he needed to so that we could do his makeup lol So instead we just used these stick on tattoos and it worked out great. My mom was able to come to the parade with us and is was so fun to see all the kids. After the parade we went to his classroom and they were just getting ready to send the kids out to recess so that they would set up some activities. So we went out to recess with him and got a couple pictures with him.

Halloween 2012

 This year for Halloween Dallin decided that he finally wanted to be something scary. So he went as a zombie and ended up loving his costume. Logan is still at the age where I can dress him up cute and he is happy with it lol So he was a Lion. So after Dallin got home from school we got ready and went over to my moms house and they made mummy pizzas and visited with grandma. Then we headed over to Heidys house for some trick or treating. And the kids got so much candy. More then I think they have ever got in the past. Then we headed over to grandma and grandpa Ehlerts house for more visiting. It was a long night but the kids had so much fun and the weather could not have been more perfect :)

This picture was taken after Dallins Halloween parade. Thats why he has different makeup on he had already ripped off most of his makeup on the way home from trick or treating to get the candy pic with that.

Pumpkin Carving

 The kids were so excited to carve there pumpkins when we got home from the pumpkin patch that the min they walked thru the door they started to set up. Here are a few pics from our pumpkin carving this year.
