Zoo Day

So on Saturday we finally had a day with no rain. Well that is until it rained at night but the morning and afternoon were great. We packed up the lunchbox and the kids and headed to the zoo for a day of fun and to get some sun. The zoo of course was packed cuz im sure everyone else had the same idea as us but oh well it was still fun. They have a dino expo going on at the zoo now so there are dinosaurs all over the zoo. They are so cool and life like Dallin had so much fun finding the new ones and pointing them out.

Here he is standing by a real dinosaur footprint. So cool and crazy at the same time.

Logan was in such a good mood all day. He didn't even have a nap and was still all smiles. And he loved his jelly sandwich

And as always the highlight of the zoo the merry go round. It was lots of fun this time cuz Logan got so excited every time it would start. The last time we came to the zoo he was only a few months old so he had no interest in anything lol.

And of course you have to get a pic on the elephant trunk.

This is the baby orangutan she is getting big.

They had a ton of baby prairie dogs they were so cute I wanted to pick them all up :)

Chuck -E- Cheese

Every year we have a family birthday party for the kids but on there actual birthday we always take them somewhere just as a family for there special day. Of course Logan was still to little to understand the whole point of it all but Dallin was happy to get all the benefits that come out of a day at good old Chuck E Cheese.. First we went to Fuddruckers for dinner (cuz who wants chuck-e-cheese pizza) and Logan ate a corn dog and fries for dinner and then got this huge ice cream sundae for dessert for free cuz it was his birthday :)


He was not to sure what to think of it at first after all it was an ice cream sundae the size of his head lol But he loved it.

Off to play games and ride rides. I think that Logan's favorite was this little car that moves up and down.

So happy to watch the Chuck-E-Cheese band.

And for all the tickets we won Dallin and Logan got to pick out two prizes each. Logan got this soft ball and some tattoos and Dallin got a blow up knife and some vampire teeth. (That are to big for his mouth and were making him choke the whole way home.)(Sigh)

Logan was happy to open up his present.
