Cotton Candy

We are doing a carnival party for Dallin this year for his birthday so we have been collecting stuff for it. And yesterday I found a really cheap do it yourself cotton candy machine. The kids were so excited to try it out and it ended up working great and it was really fun to make. I was worried that it was going to make a mess. But it didn't at all and it cleaned up really quick. Here is some pics of our first batch of homemade cotton candy.

Logans first project at school

Logan was pretty excited when I went to pick him up from school last week to show us his color sorting necklace he made in class. He is loving school and wishes that he could go more then only 2 times a week.

Out on the Sandrail

After four years David has finally finished building his sand rail. So he has been wanting to go up and try it out for weeks but everyday that we planned to go it would end up raining. So last week we let Dallin stay home from school and we went up to the mountains to ride around for the day. The kids had fun looking for animals. We saw a few deer. One that had big horns. A ton of sheep and sheep dogs and some cows. Here are a bunch of pics from the day.

Logan was the first to fall asleep was only slept about ten min or so and then was up the rest of the time.

Logan was excited that the sheep dogs came up to say hi

When it was Logans turn to sit up front everytime we went down a hill he would tell David to put his hands up for the ride lol
Here is our buck that we saw it was hard to get a pic before he ran away.
When we were almost back to the truck Dallin fell asleep.

Here is the sandrail frame when we bought it 4 years ago. And yes that is Dallin as a sweet little boy lol

State Fair 2013

We missed the county fair this year so we made sure that we made it to the State Fair. The kids always love going to the fair and it was the perfect day (not to hot) We spent the day looking at all the animals and watching different shows. And as always eating to much junk and ending the day with rides thanks to aunt Heidy :)

Dallin and Niko were able to go inside one of the sheep cages learn how to feed and hold a sheep. And Dallin was more excited that one of the sheep had the same name as him :)

Here is the baby animal of the year this little cow was only 2 weeks old and so cute and soft.

Its not a fair without some kind of animal races. This year it was ducks
