Logans Potty

So Logan is showing a ton of interest in potty training. This is a huge relief for me considering Dallin had no interest until he was 4 and then I still had to force him into it. Sigh.. lol Anyways so about a month ago we went and got Dallins potty out of storage and Logan loves it. He has not gone in it yet. He is starting to understand the whole concept of sitting on it right now. And watches David and Dallin go. And now every time he hears that one of us in going to the bathroom he screams "potty" and runs in the bathroom with us. He has started to sit on the potty without a diaper the last few days. It was hard for him at first I don't know if it was the cold or just that it was new to him but he loves it. And I cant wait until we have the first pee in the potty. Could it be before he is even 2?? Just think of the money I could save in diapers lol

1,2,3 JUMP!!

The boys love to collect all the blankets from the all the beds in the house and pile them up under the chairs or the couch and then dive into them. Logan is all about this activity and they love taking turns diving into the pile of blankets. They have learned that they need to go one at a time after bumping head a time or two lol

Super Weez lol

Here is a video of Logan doing the countdown but instead of 3,2,1 he says 1,2,3 lol (The video keeps freezing up and not playing right let me know if itgives you problems)

Made me laugh

Today Dallin was complaining that he had to eat lunch before he could have a snack and was going on and on about it and then finally said mom you know that I was born with no patience lol This is so true.

Also later on in the day Logan was in the bathroom with Dallin and they both came out together laughing and Dallin said Logan knows how to wash him hands better then I even do. That means that he is the boss around here :)

Oh my kids are crazy lol

Valentines Day

Valentines morning the boys were surprised with some cereal from Grandma and Grandpa Ehlert. They both loved it and what was even better is that the cereal came with color changing spoons. And Dallin got his favorite color orange.

Dallin also thought that it was very exciting that his cereal formed a heart shape while he was eating it.
And keeping with tradition we got or heart shaped pizza for dinner.

And Dallin helped me make chocolate dipped strawberries.

Cookie Fun

A few pics of us decorating cookies after dinner. This bottom pic is right after Logan had his first twinkie lol He loved it of course.

Dallins Valentines at school

Dallin was so excited to bring Valentines to school this year. He picked out Star Wars valentines cards and we also got chocolate marshmallow heart treats to give the kids. And decorated a bag to bring his cards home.He had a fun day and got lots of fun valentines from all his friends.

All his cards ready to pass out.

Valentines Crafts

This year we made a few Valentines cards and the kids loved to get messy. Logan loved playing with and eating the markers lol that's why he has marker all over his cheeks :) It was a fun craft and I think that the cards turned out so cute.

Logan's hand heart cards. He wiggled on the last one lol

Legos

Last week the kids were playing Lego's and decided that they were going to build a tower that was bigger then them :) we had to keep it up for days cuz every time that I suggested taking it down they would both freak out. Well I am happy to say that it is now not displayed in out living room lol

Dallin also made a few extra robots :)

Our 7th Anniversary

On Feb 1st David and I celebrated our 7th anniversary it was pretty laid back this year we didn't have money to go up and stay somewhere like we normally do and so we just hung out at home and Amy let the boys sleep over and then Heidy watched them the following day so that we could just have some quiet time lol We went up sledding at Soldier Hollow in Heber and then we went to park city and walked around looking at all the shops. There are so many art shops in downtown park city and we felt totally out of place when we were offered horderves and wine at one of the places lol After a while we were freezing. It was like 20 degrees in park city at night we went to Ruby River for dinner. Then on Saturday morning we went to breakfast and then later in the day we went to the bountiful temple. Then decided we better go and get the kids.

On the way home we were driving on the freeway and noticed that the check engine light came on. So we were wondering what was going on and then the battery light came on and then we over heated lol So we pulled off the freeway and found out that the serpentine belt on the car broke and that's why we had all the problems.
So we let it cool down and called up Heidy to see if she could send Craig to bring us a new belt to get the car fixed. So we waited for Craig to get there by that time it was dark outside and getting super cold and we were not able to fix the car because we didn't have the right tools. So we left the car and got a ride back to Heidys to get the kids and bring us home.
Anyways after church on Sunday we went up and after a few hours we got the car fixed and all is well :)

So all in all we had some drama but it was nice to not have the kids home lol :)

David got me flowers and I made him a giant chocolate cake lol
