Logans 9 Month Check Up

Today Logan had his 9 month check up he is weighing in at 21 lbs 12oz and is 29 inches long. He is 75% in both height and weight. And 90% with his giant head lol He is finally healthy and was able to get his 6 month shots that he was not able to get when he needed them from his long weeks of sickness. He also had his toe poked to check his iron and said that he looks great.

I talked to the doctor about the fact that Logan has never slept thru the night. And she said that we should do the " let him cry it out process" so I cant let him fall asleep in my arms or with a bottle and if he wakes up at night I need to just let him cry himself back to sleep. She said that he will most likely cry for at least an hour or two at a time all night but I cant go in there and get him he needs to cry himself back to sleep. So to pack up Dallin and move him out of the room for 10-12 days cuz that's the worst part of it. I'm thinking I'm happy getting my 5 hrs a night compared to nothing for 10-12 days AAAHHHH!!!! She said "yeah your pretty much going to want to jump off the roof by mid week" oh that sounds fun.......So yeah that's where we are at now.Its going to be a very long next few weeks.

Oh but for now he has a little fever and tender legs from the shots. Poor little guy finally feeling ok and I make him sick with shots.

up up and away...

Last night Dallin was sitting at the table drawing some pictures. When David asked him what he was doing he said that he was drawing up his prototype for a new rocket that he was making. Yes my child is a smarty pants lol anyways after he finished drawing that up he started on his blueprints and was ready for the real thing. Here is the rocket/airplane that he made for Logan and yes it includes headlights well one I was to lazy to find him another flashlight :)

After about a half hour Logan decided he was going to rip off the headlights and eat them so that was the end of the airplane adventure lol

Its hard work growing up..

Logan has been getting some major rug burn from all this crawling. Even when he is in pants it still rubs his knees enough to make it red. I think that they should make baby knee pads.. Better yet maybe I should invent them I would be rich lol :)

Logan finally has a tooth :)

These little teeth have taken there sweet time popping out but the other day I was feeling in his mouth and finally felt a sharp little bump popping thru. Its on this lower right side and already the one on the left side is starting to pop out as well. Dallin already had both his front bottom teeth at this point. Its crazy how all babies are so different. Here are some pics of the tiny little teeth. You might need to enlarge the pics to see them lol

Monster Jam 2011

Yesterday David took Dallin to the Monster Jam 2011 he was so excited to go and couldn't wait to see Grave Digger in action..

Grave Digger :)

Dallin brought his Grave Digger truck that he got from Grandpa DeWolf a few years ago.

Drinks nachos and monster trucks what more could a boy want?

So Grave Digger came out to do the grand finale performance and whet up this hill and....

Rolled himself and the show was over.... Suck....

But Dallin was a good sport and waited in line to meet Mr. Grave digger and even got his autograph on his truck. He was so excited :)

Logan is crawling!!!! Oh its a sad day he is growing up so fast I cant even believe that he is already getting around on his own... The past few days he would crawl on his knees maybe two or three crawls but last night he decided to go for it and did a great job.. He is so strong I knew that it wouldn't be long. He also can sit up from the crawling position now :) He is 8 1/2 months old.

Do the Dew....

So one day long ago we came into the kitchen to see that little Dallin here took a Mountain Dew can off the table and was drinking out the last few drops.

Then not so long ago we came into the living room to see little Logan taking his turn. But this time it was not open.

What I think is funny is when I looked back at pics to find Dallins old one I saw that he was the same age Logan is now. I guess there is something about being 8 1/2 months old that you need a little boost lol

* By the way all this Mountain dew is Davids not mine I think that its crap lol

Valentines thru the years ....
