Wendover here we come...

As I said before David has to celebrate his birthday all month and so we got a coupon in the mail a couple weeks ago for a free trip to wendover for his birthday. So of course all I got to hear for weeks is all about how great he is cuz its his birthday that he gets free rooms blah blah blah lol. So we packed up and went out Tuesday night after David got off work. It was a pretty fun little trip there is not much to do there but hey we cant pass up a free trip. Here are a few pics from the trip. Ok maybe more then a few lol

Dallin thought that it was so cool that we had two beds in out hotel room so he thought that it would be a great idea to jump from bed to bed. He is such a monkey and can jump so far and high. Here are some pics of him in the air. The top one is him jumping across and the bottom picture is us laying under him taking the picture of him flying in the air he thought it was awesome.

All ready to swim.

Jumping into the water so gracefully :)

Our hotel was the only hotel that had an indoor pool. It was a very good thing considering it was a nice sunny 95 degrees. Yikes Dallins white glowing self would have been fried to a crisp.

This was a pretty cool swing as you pumped your feet the whole thing would spin in circles. I went on it for about 20 seconds until I thought that I was going to puke. And left the boys on it for the rest of the time.

Dallin flying high in the air.

This is what I get when we try and take a picture of Dallin he is always the first one to make a silly face.

David and Dallin in front of a huge bomb.

This is an airplane that was used in the movie Conair. Its at the Wendover airport and you can go inside of it and look around. Dallin thought that it was pretty cool.

Inside the front Dallin couldn't understand why it had a school bus steering wheel.

The drama with dinner. Dallin was getting tired after a long day of playing in the sun so he was in wild mood. So after almost tripping an old man with a walker and breaking a plate on the ground he finally settled down and ate a bunch of different foods. I think that he mostly sat there in silence because I would give him the if you move I will kill you look that us mothers can do so well lol

All he wanted for dessert was a huge cream puff..

Happy fathers day!!

For fathers day this year I got up early and made David homemade cinnamon rolls. Despite the fact that I have a cold and can barely breathe but that's the great wife I am lol. And then we opened up presents and just had a relaxing day before having to go and visit all the dads. Dallin got David Guitar hero Metallica that he has been wanting from the day it came out. And also medicated body power lol don't ask really. And I got him a digital picture frame and loaded all pictures of him and Dallin together from birth until today. He really liked the gifts and it was a great day. Thanks to all the dads out there for all that you do. And to my dad and brothers you are great dads and role models to your kids and I am happy to call you my brothers. Love you all.

Very professional lol

David and Dallin with the gifts.

Boondocks!!

On Friday night after David got home from work we all went to Boondocks. We have been telling Dallin that we would go out and play for a while now but with the weather it just hasn't been happening. So finally there was no rain and we decided it would be fun to teach Dallin to Mini golf. He did pretty good besides the one hit he would do and then instantly go grab the ball and put it in the hole. Then do a little dance around it screaming I am the Winner!!.. Yeah he's not a sore loser at all lol. Here a few pics from our outing.

The boys waiting for out turn.

Dallin cheating as he loves to do in games.

David and Dallin on the go carts.

Dallin doesn't know the meaning of under hand throwing..

Playing yes deal or no deal. As Dallin likes to call it. His favorite show.

Dallin dealed on 42 tickets. He made a good deal there were only 8 in his case. I should take him on the real show. :)

cashing in his tickets we had 230

Dallin with the snake he named turtle. And his three dum dum suckers that he won with all his tickets.

At least he feels bad ???

So the other day after cleaning the turtles tank I went down to switch the laundry over and told Dallin to watch the turtles until I came back. Well when I came upstairs I saw him standing over the tank with the water conditioner in one hand and the lid to the water conditioner in the other. I asked him what he was doing and he just looked at me and said "nothing mom". Well I know better then that and so I asked him if he had poured more into the tank. He said no I promise and I said ok but I really need to know if you did so that the turtles don't get hurt by having to much conditioner in the water with them. He again promised me that he didn't do it and so I started to put the lid back on the bottle and that's when the tears came. Dallin started to cry and cry saying "I did mom I did pour it in" "I don't want the turtles to die" lol. I knew that he did it all along because he just loves to "help" with everything. I was just waiting to see if he would fess up. Well im happy to say that he did feel guilty enough to tell me what he did and after cleaning the tank again the turtles are good as new. I don't really think that to much could hurt them but you never know. :)

Where do you come up with this??

So this morning as Dallin was sitting on the toilet trying to go potty. (don't be fooled it only happens like once a week) he was taking forever and after about 20 minutes I asked him what was taking so long. He replied "mom its just stuck up in the corner of my ween balls you wouldn't understand". lol nope I have to agree I will never understand that one. As you see ween balls might not be the most proper term but that's what we likes to call it at our house lol.

Dallin loves his turtles.

From the day we brought the turtles home Dallin doesn't even want to leave the house because he wants to stay with his turtles. Its the first thing he says in the morning and the last thing he says goodnight to everynight.

This is Dallin reading his turtles there bedtime stories.

Whoever said turtles are slow are crazy. Whenever we let them down they go flying accross the floor as fast as they can trying to get under everything. Spike is the slower of the two so we take him out more often. Here is a video of Spike walking on the floor he was being slow this day it was a first lol

The new addition!

We have added to our family :) We have been thinking about getting turtles for a little bit and we found a guy on the classifieds that was selling a pair for a pretty good deal and so we figured why not. At the apartments we live at we cant have anything cute and cuddly like a dog and so all we can get are cold blooded animals. So we got the turtles. Dallin loves them there is a boy and a girl. The boy has the long tail and has more yellow to him. And his name is Spike and the girl has the short tail and Dallin named her Binga. Well no one knows what Binga means but Dallin says it all the time. I think that one time he told us that it meant hamburger. But we are really not sure lol. So we thought that would be a great name for his turtle. They are two year old red ear slider turtles. I guess when they are fully grow they can be the size of a dinner plate. Yikes that will be interesting.
By the way they are only in this sad little tank until we upgrade no worries. :)
